Apostle Shantay Ligons was born in Houston Texas to Pastor Eugene Julius Jones and JoAnn Jones. She is the wife of Reginald Ligons and the mother of two sons, Solomon Henderson and Cedric Byrd Jr.
Through one of the many gifts God seeded into the womb of The Midwife, she has reached the hearts of both men and women with the release of not one, but two gospel stage plays entitled “Endure” and “Broken.” Written and produced with her own personal overcoming truth of domestic violence, where the enemy thought he left her for dead, but God. She came up with songs in her belly, a worship in her heart and to her credit she has written several songs, produced by the late Shaquin Tutson. In a true season of even more, the man God created for her, located her. In a posture of prayer and submission, she was able to identify him as her Hubro (Husband + Hero), -Bro. Reginald Ligons himself.
As a powerful and anointed scribe, God has released many books through her such as, The Chosen Vessel, Activate, Transform, The Fall of the Foolish Woman, Demonstrate and surely there are still more to come. The giftings and love of the Father did not stop there. As each book and journal was written, God gave her classes to help bring about a healing to the land and a place where the anointing of John the Baptist rested upon her to go out and prepare the way for the second coming. This journey led her to the hearts of the people by way of their trauma, tragedy, and triggers. The Midwife was created to plow the hardened soils of their hearts and mind through the healing anointing like that of Apostle Paul and the Prophet Elijah. God has allowed the release of classes such as, Transform (both youth and adult), The Prophet’s Cave, Proverbs 31 Woman and The Apostolic DRIP to till the land of the inner man of all who submit to the will of God under her care.
In the beginning there was praise dance and her longing to see ever silently, sitting youth and church filled with worship, God gave her Gulf Coast Praise Dance Ministry. Even then the Apostolic mantle rested on her as she was released to have 28 churches trusting the anointing in her to groom the youth and prepare them to pave the way just as the Levites had. And it did not stop there. By way of The Midwife Global Fellowship of Churches, Gen Z was born to teach the next generations how to maximize worship, sound, and take back our praise from the world and give it unto the Father.
Apostle Shantay Ligons is committed to cultivating and birthing God’s people. Because of her commitment to serving others and following Jesus, she takes great care not to mishandle her gift of teaching and the gift of helps by going out and sharing all that the Father has poured into her through teaching, training, developing, and cultivating leaders by giving them tools to dismantle the kingdom of darkness through the spiritual release of The Altar Workers Bootcamp, Armor Bearer trainings, Intercessory training and development, Prophetic Activation, and deliverance training. A true Trench Worker.
Apostle Shantay exhibits a Holy boldness, uncompromising courage, a never be defeated posture and through her love for Christ, His Kingdom, His people, she will not stop until the clarion call of God has been heard and answered far and wide. Not only is she assisting the people of God into their place of freedom, but she is also called to walk heavy in deliverance ministry causing an uproar in Hell. Fearless, Full, and Faithful.
With the Davidic anointing on her life, not only is she one who sees the vision, writes the vision, births the vision, but she raises up nations who will forever carry the vision and the promises of a Sovereign God for generations to come. And it was here God gave the increase, as the founder of Re-Birth Apostolic Ministries “Ground Zero” and Resource Capital to the kingdom. All roads lead to UNSTOPPABLE!!
Apostle Shantay Ligons possesses the characteristics of the Fivefold Ministry through the anointing of Abraham on her life (plainly put, she can be trusted.) Apostles are dream awakeners, Prophets are heart revealers, Evangelists are story tellers, Pastors are soul healers, and Teachers are light givers. ALL of which God has birthed in, and through her. We thank God for her life, her obedience and even her suffering. Through them all a child was born to bring about order and transformation in these last days and not one Generation will be left behind. There is no area God has not granted her access to. ALL ABOARD!!!
